Alexandria Parade sealed off by police after cyclist hit by truck

The tragic incident happened around 5:20 p.m. near Alexandra Parade in the East End of the city.

Police are at the scene of the collision, leading to the closure of two roads.

Alexandra Parade is currently closed between Easter Craigs and Cumbernauld Road.

Additionally, Cumbernauld Road is shut to all traffic between Bannatyne Avenue and Alexandra Parade.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
