Rediscovering Old Memories

As I sit here sifting through a box of old photographs and negatives , I stumble upon a gem from 2009. It's amazing how a single image can take you back in time, evoking a ripple of emotions and fond memories associated with a moment long gone.

This particular photo captures a charming everyday scene inside the iconic Tam Shepherd's shop in Glasgow. The black and white photo paints a vivid picture of everyday life. In this shot, a little girl in a mask stands as a focal point, an innocent observer of this vibrant puzzle. What really strikes me is how this image connects the past to the present, showcasing a slice of life from a time that feels both close and distant. Sadly the news broke last year that the world famous joke shop had to close the shop on Queen Street.
