Did Banksy Just Bless Glasgow with a Masterpiece—or Is It Someone Up to No Good?

Glasgow—home of passionate football fans, and now… mysterious street art? A new painting has popped up in the West End, leaving locals scratching their heads and whispering, "Could it be... Banksy?"

The artwork, which appeared near 80 George Street in Hillhead, features a young boy wielding an axe, looking suspiciously like he's just given a parking sign a Glasgow-style makeover. Beside him? A Little Tikes Cozy Coupe, complete with what appears to be parking notices. Because, of course, even plastic cars aren’t safe from the wrath of parking enforcement.

Resident Tom Watson was so intrigued that he sent photos to the Glasgow Times, posing the million-dollar question: "Is this a Banksy?" (Or, alternatively, "Did wee Arty get a hold of his dad’s toolbox again?")

This isn’t the first time a piece of rogue art has appeared in Glasgow, sparking debates over whether the elusive street artist and political activist has graced the city with his work. But let's be honest—if Banksy was going to show up anywhere, wouldn’t it make sense for it to be a place where even pigeons have an attitude and traffic cones have their own national monument?

So, what do you think—genius political statement, or just a local ned’s tantrum gone too far?
